Quimeralia Terms of Use
This is a courtesy translation. The Spanish version is the legally binding one and prevails in case of any difference.
1. Who offers the game
Quimeralia: Almar Chronicles is a game by Lopand Game Studio, the video game studio of Lopand Solutions S.A. de C.V., located at Vicente Guerrero 132, Colonia Santa Anita, C.P. 45600, Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, México. Contact: soporte@lopandsolutions.com. In these terms we call it “we”, and you, “you”.
By downloading or playing Quimeralia you accept these terms. If you don't agree with any of them, don't use the game. The terms of the store you download it from (Google Play) also apply.
2. What you can do with the game
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and play Quimeralia on your devices, for your own use and not for a business. The license lasts as long as you follow these terms.
You can record and stream your games, and publish reviews, screenshots and videos of the game, even if they earn you money. You can also use the material in our press kit for that.
3. Price, purchases and ads
This version of Quimeralia is free, has no in-game purchases and shows no ads. If a future version adds them, we will say so in the store before you download it and will update these terms and the privacy notice.
4. Chimeras, items and progress
Chimeras, ingredients, potions, decorations and everything you earn in the game are part of it: they have no money value outside the game and cannot be sold, exchanged for money or given to someone else.
Your progress is stored on your phone. If you turn on the backup (Options › Backup), it is also stored on our service and you restore it with your code; without the code we cannot recover it. If you don't turn it on and you uninstall the game, clear its data or change phones, your progress is lost.
5. Test version
While Quimeralia is in a closed test on Google Play, it may have bugs, change from one day to the next or stop being available. We appreciate you telling us what you find at soporte@lopandsolutions.com; we may use what you write to us to improve the game.
6. What you can't do
- Copy, sell, redistribute or publish modified versions of the game or of its art, music or code.
- Decompile or reverse engineer the game, except where the law expressly allows it.
- Abuse the backup service (for example, trying to guess other people's codes).
- Use the game for anything illegal or to harass other people.
7. Age and content
Quimeralia is for everyone from 9 years old. It has fantasy duels between creatures in an arena, with no blood and no one getting hurt; it has no scary content or offensive language. Potions and alchemy are fantasy.
8. Health
The arena has light and motion effects, but nothing flashes more than three times per second. In Options you can reduce flashes (no shakes, hit pauses or glows), turn off vibration and enlarge the text. Take breaks now and then and stop playing if you feel dizzy or your eyes hurt.
9. Who owns what
The game, its name, logo, characters, chimeras, story, art, music and code belong to Lopand Solutions S.A. de C.V. and are protected by Mexico's Federal Copyright Law and Federal Law for the Protection of Industrial Property. The license in point 2 lets you play it; it doesn't transfer ownership of anything.
10. Updates and availability
We may update the game to fix bugs, add content or comply with the store. We do what is reasonable for it to work well, but we don't guarantee it is free of errors or that it will stay available in the store forever.
11. Liability
Quimeralia is offered as is. We are not liable for the loss of progress stored only on your phone or for indirect damages. None of this limits liability the law does not allow to be limited, including willful misconduct and gross negligence, or your rights under Mexico's Federal Consumer Protection Law.
12. Privacy
The game doesn't ask for data that identifies you and only connects to the internet if you turn on the backup. The details are in the Quimeralia privacy notice, which is part of these terms.
13. Changes to these terms
If we change them, we will publish the new version on this page with its date. If you keep playing after it is published, you are understood to accept it; if you don't agree, you can stop using the game and uninstall it.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. If you have a problem with the game, write to us first at soporte@lopandsolutions.com: almost everything gets solved that way.
As a consumer you can go to Mexico's Federal Consumer Protection Agency (PROFECO) at any time, without having written to us first. For any other dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts of Guadalajara, Jalisco, unless the law gives you the right to go to those of your home.
