Description

Quimeralia: Crónicas de Almar is a creature-collecting game for Android: a hundred years before El Aprendiz de Almar, win over 68 chimeras with alchemy, with no luck involved, fight in a real-time arena and heal the Valley of Brezo.

Quimeralia: Crónicas de Almar is Lopand Game Studio's fifth game, in development for Android. A hundred years before El Aprendiz de Almar, an alchemist newly arrived in the Valley of Brezo finds the valley's creatures, the chimeras, restless and sick with the Turbia, a purple sediment left behind by alchemy done in a hurry.

It's a creature-collecting game where chimeras are won with alchemy and never caught: through bond, purification, eggs, transmutation, pact or negotiation, with no luck or percentages. Fights happen in real time, in a separate arena, short and with no blood: chimeras get tired and give up.

History

Quimeralia started in late September 2026 as an idea, and today it's already playable from start to finish in the studio. Four rules guide it: win them instead of catching them, alchemy at the center of everything, the world of Almar, and fights that are a flashy event in little time. Whatever serves none of them stays out.

Every chimera is reviewed so it only looks like itself, and every mechanic so it doesn't step on what belongs to others. Today's art is placeholder: the final art and design are in development at the studio. It's built with more than 1,200 automated tests and an automated tester that plays it on a real phone.

Features

  • 68 chimeras across four essences (Ascua, Rocío, Raíz and Vilano), each with its own entry, habit and place in the valley.
  • Six ways to win them over, all of them alchemy or friendship, with no luck or percentages.
  • Real-time arena: move your chimera, attack, use its abilities and switch chimeras; no blood and no permanent defeats.
  • A journey through ten places, from the Fields of Brezo to the capital of the kingdom; each one opens with a potion.
  • A workshop of your own with jobs, a twelve-niche display case and corners to decorate.
  • The night, a recipe book of potions that need to rest, four valley festivals and a field notebook.
  • 5 to 15 minute sessions, in landscape; options for large text, fewer flashes and no vibration.
  • Free to play and for everyone.
