Quimeralia Privacy Notice
This is the privacy notice for the game Quimeralia: Almar Chronicles. The website's notice is at /en/privacy. You can also read the Spanish version.
Quimeralia Privacy Notice
1. Controller
Lopand Solutions S.A. de C.V., located at Vicente Guerrero 132, Colonia Santa Anita, C.P. 45600, Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico, is responsible for the game Quimeralia: Almar Chronicles. Contact: soporte@lopandsolutions.com.
2. Personal data we process
The game does not ask for any data that identifies you. Quimeralia asks for no sign-up, email, age or account, and it does not need the internet to be played. Everything stays on your phone (section 3), except one optional thing: if you turn on the save backup, on Android the game sends your save to our game service together with a random identifier (section 4). The game has no purchases, shows no ads, uses no analytics or advertising services, does not use your phone's advertising ID, does not ask for your location, sends no notifications, has no chat and does not sell data.
3. What is stored on your phone
The game stores on your phone your progress (your chimeras and their bonds, your team and their levels, ingredients, potions, recipes, the field notebook, the places you visited, the story, requests, festivals, the guild seals and trials, and your workshop's decorations), what your apprentice is like (the name you give them, how you want to be addressed, their cape and skin tone), your options (sound, vibration, reduce flashes, language, large text, relaxed festival games and "What's next, on screen") and, on Android, the game service's random identifier and, if you turn on the backup, its code. We suggest using a nickname for your apprentice, not your full name. What is on your phone is deleted when you uninstall the game or clear its data in your phone's settings (the backup is not: see section 4).
4. Save backup (optional)
On Android, Quimeralia can back up your save on a service run by Lopand Solutions
(apilgs.lopandsolutions.com). It starts off. If you turn it on in Options → "Backup",
the game uploads your save (the same one stored on your phone, section 3, without your options) and gives you a
12-character code to restore it on another phone; from then on it backs up by itself while you play. For this, the
game creates a random identifier on your phone that carries no name, email, age or account, and
that is neither the advertising ID nor the phone's Android ID. If you never turn on the backup, the game does not
connect to the service and nothing reaches us.
We keep the save, the identifier and a fingerprint of the code (not the code itself); they are deleted when you choose "Delete my backup" or after 24 months without updates. The service uses your IP address only at the moment, to limit abuse, and does not store it with this data. Everything travels encrypted (HTTPS). We do not use this data to identify you, for advertising or for profiling, and we do not share it with anyone.
5. Children and teenagers
The game is for everyone from 9 years old and follows Google Play's Families policy. It asks no one for personal data and does not ask for age, so all players are treated the same, as if they were children. The backup starts off, asks for no personal data, and its random identifier is used only to make the backup work, never for advertising or profiling; we suggest an adult keeps the code. If you are a parent or guardian and want us to delete your child's backup, delete it in Options → "Backup" → "Delete my backup" or write to us with the code (section 7).
6. Transfers
We do not transfer personal data to third parties. We process the backup data (section 4) ourselves and do not share it. The game is downloaded from Google Play, which processes its own data under its privacy notice.
7. Your rights
Backup data carries no real name or account; to exercise a right over it, we will ask for your backup code to find it and, if that is not possible, we will tell you. For any question, or to exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation or objection, write to soporte@lopandsolutions.com. To delete your progress, if you backed it up, first choose "Delete my backup" in Options → "Backup" (if you no longer have the phone, write to us with your code) and then uninstall the game or clear its data.
8. Changes to this notice
If a future version of the game processes other personal data (for example, in-game purchases), we will update this notice before publishing it, with a new version and its effective date.
