El Aprendiz de Almar Terms of Use
This is a courtesy translation. The Spanish version is the legally binding one and prevails in case of any difference.
1. Who offers you the game
El Aprendiz de Almar is a game by Lopand Game Studio, the video game studio of Lopand Solutions S.A. de C.V., with its address at Vicente Guerrero 132, Colonia Santa Anita, C.P. 45600, Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, México. Contact: soporte@lopandsolutions.com. In these terms we call the company "we" or "us", and we call you "you".
By downloading or playing El Aprendiz de Almar you accept these terms. If you don't agree with any of them, don't use the game. The terms of the store you download it from (Google Play) also apply.
2. What you may do with the game
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and play El Aprendiz de Almar on your devices, for your own use and not for a business. The license lasts as long as you follow these terms.
You may record and stream your games, and publish reviews, screenshots and videos of the game, even if they earn you money. You may also use the material in our press kit for that.
3. Price
This version of El Aprendiz de Almar is free, has no ads and has no real-money purchases: the whole story can be played without paying. If a future version adds anything paid, we'll say so beforehand in the store and in these terms, with its price and conditions.
4. Coins, items and progress
Coins, ingredients, potions and items in the game are earned by playing and are not for sale. They are part of the game: they have no monetary value and cannot be sold, exchanged, refunded or transferred to another person.
Your progress is saved only on your phone. If you uninstall the game, clear its data or switch phones, it is lost, and we cannot recover it because we never received it.
5. What you may not do
- Copy, sell, redistribute or publish modified versions of the game or of its art, music or code.
- Decompile or reverse engineer the game, except to the extent the law expressly allows it.
- Sell or trade in-game coins or items for money.
- Use the game for anything illegal or to harass other people.
6. Age and content
El Aprendiz de Almar is intended for people aged 13 and over. It has fantasy violence, in pixel art and without blood: with your staff and potions you fight animals (wolves, boars, bats, rats) and guards. If you are a minor, play with the permission of your mother, father or whoever looks after you, and read these terms with them.
7. Health
The game has flashes (exploding potions, fire and hits) and the camera shakes in some fights. If you have or have had photosensitive epilepsy or any discomfort with flashing lights, see a doctor before playing. You can turn off vibration in Opciones. Stop playing if you feel dizzy, get a headache or your eyes hurt, and take breaks now and then.
8. Who owns what
The game, its name, logo, characters, story, art, music and code belong to Lopand Solutions S.A. de C.V. and are protected by the Federal Copyright Law (Ley Federal del Derecho de Autor) and the Federal Law for the Protection of Industrial Property. Art and design are by Romina López. The Pixelify Sans and Atkinson Hyperlegible typefaces are used under the SIL Open Font License. The license in section 2 lets you play it; it doesn't transfer ownership of anything to you.
9. Updates and availability
We may update the game to fix bugs, add content or comply with the store. We do what's reasonable to make it work well, but we don't guarantee it's error-free or that it will stay available in the store forever.
10. Liability
El Aprendiz de Almar is provided as is. We are not liable for the loss of progress saved on your phone or for indirect damages. None of this limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, including fraud and gross negligence, or your rights under the Federal Consumer Protection Law (Ley Federal de Protección al Consumidor).
11. Privacy
What data is processed and by whom is set out in the El Aprendiz de Almar privacy notice, which is part of these terms.
12. Changes to these terms
If we change them, we'll publish the new version on this page with its date. If you keep playing after it's published, you're taken to accept it; if you don't agree, you can stop using the game and uninstall it.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. If you have a problem with the game, write to us first at soporte@lopandsolutions.com: almost everything gets solved that way.
As a consumer, you can go to the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (Procuraduría Federal del Consumidor, PROFECO) at any time, without having to write to us first. For any other dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts of Guadalajara, Jalisco, unless the law gives you the right to go to the courts where you live.
